I am a creative arts marketeer with a love for writing and musical theatre. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Durham University and am currently working in the West End industry. I'm excited by the thought of combining my two passions by creating and writing content about all things theatre.

I wrote my dissertation on the musical 'RENT' by Jonathan Larson, exploring theatre's ability to transform cultural narratives during times of epidemic. So it's no surprise that RENT is one of my favourite musicals of all time, along with 'Cabaret', 'Kinky Boots' and 'Waitress' (which was the first West End show I saw soon after moving to the UK!).

Although my interests have always lied with musicals, my time previously working at the Almeida Theatre really grew my appreciation for new writing and plays on the whole - I've now seen Eline Arbo's 'The Years' three times(!) and this show has definitely become one of my favourites.
