    Evita Makes West End Return

Evita is returning to the West End for a limited period at the Dominion theatre. Scheduled to open in September, Marti Pellow and Madalena Alberto will be reprising their roles as Che Guevara and Eva Peron in the hit Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber show.

Telling the story of Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, Evita follows Eva's journey from humble beginnings through to extraordinary wealth, power and iconic status which ultimately lead her to be heralded as the 'spiritual leader of the nation' by the Argentine people.

Directed by Bill Kenwright and Bob Tomson, Evita will be the first show to run at the Dominion following its renovation work and the closure of We Will Rock You. The show will run for a strictly limited 55 performances, closing for White Christmas, starring Aled Jones and Tom Chambers, which opens at the theatre on 12th November.

With more than 20 major awards to its credit, Evita features some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre, including Don't Cry For Me Argentina and You Must Love Me. This is a classic musical which should not be missed! So check back for more news and ticket releases.
