LAUREN SAMUELS JOINS CAST OF WE WILL ROCK YOU

Consistently one of the most popular shows in the West End and the winner of BBC Radio 2 Audience Award at the 2011 Olivier Awards, We Will Rock You will be welcoming new cast member Lauren Samuels to the stage at the Dominion Theatre from 10th October.

Lauren Samuels will play the role of Scaramouche.  Her first major West End role was as Sandy in Grease last year after coming to fame as a contestant on the BBC series Over the Rainbow - the search for the role of Dorothy in Wizard of Oz.  Lauren came third in the competition.

Other new cast members joining the show is Alasdair Harvey who has previously appeared in Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables as well as Wayne Robinson who comes from touring in We Will Rock You to the West End production.

The show will celebrate it's 10th Year anniversary next year since opening on 14th May 2002.  We Will Rock You was recently part of the Children In Need campaign, which saw original Queen band member Brian May take to the stage with ex spice girl Mel C to belt out some of their most famous anthems.
